With government restrictions starting to lift on the current Covid-19 nationwide lock down, and nothing but blue skies and sunshine on the horizon, we are pleased to announce that our Bareboat charters are back up and running!
We have implemented new measures to ensure that our charters are provided at little to no risk to our clients’ health during this global health pandemic. We are confident that the steps we have taken mean we are able to open up our doors once again.
We have two different size Ribcraft vessels available in our fleet for bareboat, 7.8m and 8.8m. Both size Ribs are fitted with 250hp Suzuki engines and are fully equipped with adult lifejackets, Garmin chart plotter with sounder, VHF radio, liferaft and a full inventory of safety equipment. We are also able to provide children’s lifejackets on request for those aged 4 years and upward.
We offer the best parts of ownership with smart, unbranded, well-maintained Ribs, delivered shiny, working, and full of fuel! All you do is simply meet our team member for a handover in the morning and on return, hand back the keys and leave them to re-fuel and clean down the boat.
All of our boats are immaculately turned out and equipped to the highest standard; we use only the leading brands and code them via the Maritime Coastguard Agency (MCA) to the highest level permissible.
Qualifications & Experience
In the UK, charterers require a RYA Powerboat Level 2 or ICC qualification. Before chartering one of our Ribs, we will give you a call to discuss your boating experience in the area you are chartering from.
If you don’t yet have your qualifications, we work closely with Powerboat Training UK who run courses out of Lymington and Poole.
Fuel is charged as burnt, post charter. Bareboat clients spend an average of £85 per day on fuel, with a range of £50 – £140. Fuel consumption doubles every 1,000 rpm so consumption depends on your driving style.
