New Zealand Wins the 35th America's Cup

New Zealand Win’s the 35th America’s Cup!

Congratulations to Emirates Team New Zealand on winning the 35th America’s Cup. The Kiwi’s took a stomping lead in the final stage of the competition, finishing Sunday with the score line set at 6-1 over Oracle Team USA. However there were still fears that Jimmy Spithill and his team could muster up another miracle come back, similar to their one in the 2013 America’s Cup when they came back from a 8-1 set back only to take the win over Emirates Team New Zealand 9-8.

History didn’t repeat itself this time round, the Kiwi’s kept that laser focus they’ve shown throughout the competition and won their final two races giving them 8 wins and an overall finishing score of 7-1 with a 55 second lead in the final race.

The Kiwi’s will now be defending in the 36th America’s Cup,¬†we’re already looking forward to the next events racing!
