The operations team at CRC have decided its time to show thier support for the RNLI – Royal National Lifeboat Institution.
Five of the team intend to do this by spending 24 hours together on board a life raft. They will be starting at 13:00 on the 14th April 2017 anchored within the Lymington Yacht Haven Marina near the fuel berth, tantalisingly close to the restaurant, loo facilities and hardest of all, the bar.
This certainly won’t be an easy task, the provisions on board will be very basic. Immersion Suits will be available for the team to wear, these will help keep them warm during the cold Spring night.
The life raft the boys are using will be the same as those fitted to our Commercial Ribs and are kindly being supplied to us by the team at Universal Safety.
The CRC boys will be doing Facebook Live feeds throughout the challenge, so make sure you are following the Commercial Rib Charter Facebook Page. If you are local to the area then please come down to give the boys your full support day or night. Feel free to come armed with a bucket of water or the garden hose; we are sure the boys will appreciate anything that will make the experience as realistic as possible!
You can donate to the challenge by clicking here, all donations large or small will be hugely appreciated.
