SEGA needed an event prestigious and exciting enough to combine both their annual European conference and the 20th birthday of Sonic the Hedgehog.
Multimedia Conference
Solent Rib Charter were contracted to provide the full solution. Coaches collected all 240 delegates from London and Heathrow for transfer to Southampton and then by high speed Red Jet ferry to Cowes on the Isle of Wight.
We used the excellent Yacht Haven conference facility just a few feet from the edge of the water for an impressive multimedia conference as befits a high technology firm, all organised by Solent Rib Charter.
Rib Treasure Hunt
Lunch was served on the balcony overlooking the marina followed by all 240 delegates boarding a fleet of 30 Ribs to embark on a highly competitive and fun Rib Treasure Hunt which had been customised for SEGA. Sonic himself donned a lifejacket to take the salute.
The competitors returned to a BBQ on the balcony with terrific views over the Solent for excellent food, plenty of drink and a prize giving before departing by high speed ferry back to the mainland.
