In the most attractive of the major UK commercial Ports, Gosport is best known for its commanding views over the historic ships, unspoilt Georgian dockyards, Royal Naval surface fleet and the exciting new Gunwharf Quays and Spinnaker Tower development.
A great departure point for Rib charter or Bareboat Rib charter (without a skipper), Gosport enjoys an eastern location within the Solent with excellent access to many of the most popular destinations including Cowes and Hamble.
The harbour itself is well worth a tour to see the fleet, dockyards, commercial port and the upper reaches to Portchester Castle and Port Solent Marina, to say nothing of the three imposing Palmerstone forts guarding the approaches.
